Our earnest advice is - buy just what you need, not what you might need - you will save money and get the most from your incubator. Concentrate on sourcing the best quality eggs you can from a reputable supplier and if you must spend more, treat yourself to a candling lamp so that you can monitor the embryonic development of the fertilised eggs through to chicks. We have included a handy table below for you to see the best incubator for you. Please phone or e-mail if you need a little help ! E-mail your details for catalogue and prices. Note - egg capacities vary with size of breed - the larger the egg, the less the number the incubator will fit - the table below gives a general guide only - please call us if in any doubt. Novital incubators are sold throughout Europe, are a brand leader in the UK and Ireland and are supplied by other manufactures of incubators (larger incubators with huge capacities - 1000's of eggs) whose ranges do not cover the Novital range. Novital have proved reliable. |
The Covatutto 24 The Covatutto 24 is shown here in its automatic role. It is a very popular entry level machine for those really into incubation. A low wattage (3W) yet strongly geared motor moves an inner table gently rocking or rotating the eggs over the incubation period, whilst a continuous strong fan forces warm and moist air over and around the egg surfaces. Steady tempertature control and warm moist circulating air and continuous movement copying nature as close as any machine can. Features at a glance: Automatic egg turning - Thermally insulated - Strong robust structure - Easy to clean and sterilise - Full transparent viewing hood - Integrated humidity trough - Moveable egg separators - External Thermometer with integrated magnifying glass and protective plastic sheath - Warm air and wet forced air (humidity) circulatory fan - Electronic thermostat - External temperature adjustment - Egg Capacity: Hen (24), Duck (20), Goose (6), Turkey (16), Guinea Fowl (30), Pheasant (30), Partridge (42), Quail (70). Covatutto 120 The Covatutto120's key feature as far as QR Country Collection is concerned is that it is effectively 3 incubators in one - three independent trays driven by three independent motors - allowing the "staggering" of incubations. The Covatutto 120 has proved so popular with volume producers that they have purchased second machines to take advantage of the ability to phase in incubations. |
The Covatutto 54 Identical in every respect to the Covatutto 54 only larger in size and capacity - begging the question "can you cope with all the successful hatchings it will produce !" One word of warning - you will be popular when other enthusiasts find that you have a Novital incubator !
Remember, all automatic incubators can be purchased as low cost manual versions with the option to upgrade later. Ask yourself - do you really need an automatic ?
